The price of the device depends on the type and characteristics of the object to be protected.
The GUARDIAN moisture removal device is intended to solve the problem of rising damp – water that rises from the ground into the walls of the building, so you must first determine what kind of problem your building has.
It is produced in several different models and the price depends on the type and characteristics of the object to be protected.
Before
After
This is the most common situation for protecting the object with the use of the GUARDIAN damp removal device. Rising damp absorbs evenly in all interior and exterior walls of the object.
Drying impact of the GUARDIAN damp removal is absolute.
Before
1. vertical sealing; 2. drainage pipe
After
1. vertical sealing; 2. drainage pipe
On the left exterior wall, water penetrates the wall from underneath and laterally, damp rises to a higher point than in the middle wall where water penetrates only from underneath. On the right exterior wall, vertical sealing was applied (here, bitumen layer with protective foil) and a drainage pipe was installed. Therefore, damp cannot penetrate laterally, but the wall remains damp due to the penetration of rising damp from underneath.
The right wall acts as a detached wall due to vertical sealing: the drying effect by the GUARDIAN damp removal is complete, the same as with the middle wall. In the case of the left exterior wall, the effect would be reduced due to the lateral water penetration. In most cases, the interior side of the walls would be dry, but the concentration of dampness would be increasing towards the exterior side of the walls. It depends on the soil conditions.

After
1. vertical sealing; 2. drainage pipe 3. Drywall
In this case, the right exterior wall is vertically sealed and it is damp due to rising damp coming from beneath. The middle wall is fully embedded in the ground and it is completely waterlogged. The vertical sealing cannot be performed on that wall since its exterior surface is underneath the house foundations and is not accessible.
Drying the walls by the GUARDIAN damp removal device can be performed completely on the left wall and on the right, vertically sealed, exterior wall. The middle wall in the basement can be dried only from the interior side, while damp would still be present in the exterior part of the wall that is in direct contact with the soil.
If the walls in that room must be completely dry, a baffle (drywall) may be built. Interior coating will remain dry since it does not have any contact with the soil and the GUARDIAN damp removal device will, simultaneously, be ensuring that the air in the interspace remains dry and will prevent the growth of mould.

After
1. vertical sealing; 2. drainage pipe
Due to the heavy lateral pressure of water, exterior walls are completely waterlogged and it is absolutely necessary to perform the vertical sealing in order to achieve the full drying effect by the use of the GUARDIAN damp removal. The water pressure should be removed from the house; therefore, in addition, drainage can be performed at the lower edge of the object.
In this example, this has been done on the right exterior wall; therefore, it is less wet than the left unprotected wall. In this way, the right wall is exposed to rising damp only from beneath. Since the lateral water pressure is no longer affecting the right exterior wall, the GUARDIAN damp removal can remove the damp completely. On the other hand, the left unprotected wall will be dry only to the level of the slope whereas the part of the wall in the ground will remain damp. The vertical sealing should always be performed by a specialised company in order to be certain that the damp does not penetrate the wall few years later, due to the vertical sealing losing its effect.
Remediation and protection of the building by means of GUARDIAN damp removal device is considerably lower than the alternatives.
The price depends on the model of the GUARDIAN damp removal device that is required for your facility.
